Diana Hayden (born 1 May 1973) is a beauty pageant titleholder from India who won the Femina Miss India contest in 1997 and was crowned Miss World 1997.
Early life and background
Diana Hayden was born in Hyderabad, in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, in a Anglo-Indian family.[1] She attended St. Ann's High School, Secunderabad, until the eight standard. Hayden continued her studies through open schooling and correspondence, and graduated from Osmania University having majored in English.[2]Before she began modeling, she worked for an event management company called Encore. She then worked as a public relations officer at BMG Crescendo, where she assisted in managing the careers of models Anaida and Mehnaz. On Anaida's recommendation she entered herself into the Miss India contest in 1997.[2]
Career
Diana Hayden won the Femina Miss India World crown in 1997, and then went on to win the Miss World crown in the same year. By doing so, she became the third Indian woman to win the Miss World pageant, after Reita Faria in 1966 and Aishwarya Rai in 1994.Following her tenure as the global representative for the Miss World organization, Hayden moved to the UK and studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.[3] She also studied at the Drama Studio London, where she concentrated on the works of Shakespeare and earned a Best Actress nomination from the studio.[3] In 2001, she made her screen debut in the film version of Shakespeare's Othello in South Africa.
Diana was signed by the Avalon Academy in 2006 as the face of the Academy and currently serves as a celebrity guest lecturer for airline personnel training programs.[3]
In 2008, Diana Hayden became a wild card entry on the second season of the popular Indian TV show Bigg Boss. She was voted off Bigg Boss during Week 13; the episode was aired on 7 November 2008.

Hottie Of the Week - Dougie Poynter
Let's face it, the winner of this weeks Hottie Of The Week wasn't going to be womaniser Mark was it?! No, this week it is of course the gorgeous sexy Dougie Poynter. At last. I mean its not like I've fancied him for the last 7 years or anything...!
Dougie Poynter is best known for being the bassist, writer and occasional vocalist of pop band Mcfly, who first found fame in 2004. (Yes, told you so, the last 7 years, I fancied him the moment James Bourne affiliated them with my teenage obsession Busted, I even saw them live as a support band to Busted). Dougie is also starring in this years I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

- Mcfly's song, Transylvana is often considered as Dougie's song as he was not only the main writer for the song, but this is also the only song that he provides lead vocals on
- He is actually from Essex, which means he is a fairly local boy ;)

I'm very very very glad that Dougie has won Hottie Of The Week, as he is pretty much my ideal guy. He's sexy and hot, but he's also cute at the same time, he can write, sing and play guitar and bass and he lives local! He's got tattoo's but not too many and has the best music taste. I genuinely think I could end up dating him one day (I am a journalist after all so I will no doubt one day meet him!). He also has a really hot voice (that boy should be lead vocalist 24/7!) and I may or may not fancy him even more after a slightly inappropriate dream about him last night...!
